PrePostPrint is a group of designers, artists and publishers united by the desire to experiment and share alternative approaches to publishing, editing and producing printed objects. Four of us will carry the multiple voices of the group, to express the collective process of writing a manifesto that aims to (re)define us, by laying out the cultural and political fundamentals of our group, going beyond technical issues and questioning the established frameworks of free software.

Fair Kin Arts Almanac

The Fair Kin Arts Almanac collects contributions on the arts practice from over 130 artists, writers, and activists spinning their thoughts and experiences into 12 chapters around a year. This publication was designed by Open Source Publishing using ethertoff, a F/LOSS collaborative design and publishing tool using web-to-print. In our talk we would like to present the publication and discuss the (self-developed) tools we used and give insight into the collaborative editing and design process.

Open-source chocolate molding with porous 3d printing

Nowadays, very few pastry chefs make themselves their own molds using 3d design software, 3d printing and thermoforming (eg. Dinara Kasko). Let us consider open-source software alternatives and tricks which could make up an easy-to-adopt pipeline for chefs. Live modeling and molding demos will be shown during the talk using the LGM logo.
